After close to four decades of being the benchmark survey for consumer brand preferences and attitudes in South Africa, the All Media and Products Survey (AMPS) was released for the final time this year. To commemorate its long history, Andrew Fulton from Eighty20 presented “40 years of AMPS, insights from a life well lived” at the final SAARF roadshows in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. In his presentation, Andrew covers AMPS from its “birth to retirement” highlighting key milestones in the survey’s lifetime, such as when the survey first moved away from paper reports. The presentation offers a fascinating overview of the history of AMPS for all industry supporters.
