   What’s more sad is the number of people who have faith in Julius… (At least it’s a 2009 fact !)

   I’d love to know what race was the majority voice in the 51% that have total confidence in Zuma and the 21% who have confidence in Julius. I can assume with an educated guess but at this point it would be unfair to voice my opinion in that regard. I do think, though, that this statistic is as ridiculous as the fact that Mugabe also has a following in Zimbabwe and they also have total confidence in him, but it doesn’t make it right. Frankly it concerns me that so many people can vote for an evil monkey like Julius and a morally questionable president such as Zuma. It says a lot for the common sense of our people. I think the colour of one’s skin counts more in people’s minds than competence or ethics. Unfortunately there is only one Mandela who was a fantastic political role model for whites, blacks and all races alike and if he were in power, I’d feel a whole lot happier.

   @Ashleigh Rodda..Unfortunately for you, most of us ( Africans)have confidence in Julius Malema and President Zuma. This is in our continent and country South Africa. So please leave our leaders and immigrate to Australia, Canada or UK

   Cry the beloved country.

   MoAfrika. It is a country we all share and wish to see prosper. “Our leaders” are doing far too little to help the vast majority and are actually making it harder for poor people to earn a decent income. Quite what gives you confidence is hard to understand but after all, it is your vote for incompetence, corruption and jobs for the boys/girls that counts. No point in blaming whitey…having them emigrate will help nobody.

   @MoAfrika: I’m an African too ;)and…that would make this county mine as well. Don’t you just love democracy. If you told everyone to immigrate that didn’t agree with you, you’d be left in a very sorry state.
