   Well,well – it seems as though Multichoice have saved face by listening to the conservatives.Personally I do think it is the right choice in South Africa,as our population are mostly illiterate and uneducated.Interesting fact: In a european country (with 2% unemployment) you have the choice to subscribe to adult channels. There is also 0.5% rapes and sexual abuse cases (less than 10 a year) in a population of 12 million people. Unfortunately our population will rather be hypocrites (about sexual content) ,but still rape and sexually abuse children & women every 30 seconds of every day !!!

   Well done multichoice. It’s not concervative, but helpful to keep family entertainment in the house and not bad acting sex craved actors showing us what they do naked (yes, I watched it because it was there – now I need not worry that I stumble onto it) ETv please take note and follow suit

      Totally agree with you Louis! E-tv, you need to take the same stance also! Your evening viewing is not family-friendly. And Paul Chinchen, evolution is being proved more incorrect and false everyday, so don’t condemn MultiChoices cecision as being a stagnation in the so-cslled evolutionary race.

   Well done Multichoice! I hope the decision not to carry adult content was based on upholding good family and moral values rather than the profitability of the idea.

   In my opinion SABC 1,2,3 & e-TV are junk! Violent movies,porn and poor news. Yuk! Unfortunately,what the vast majority of people in SA are exposed to watching on TV may well be eventually acted out upon some poor unsuspecting man or woman. I believe TV stations have a social responsibility to be a part of the solution to our country’s crime problems by offering quality content that reflects more of the kind of world we would all like to live in, a world of peace harmony and goodwill.
   To SABC I say…”Be proudly South African and Shape up or Ship out”

   It seems Eighty20 worked out this was a bad idea without spending months of research like multichoice.

   Viccy – a DSTV subscriber is defined as any individual that pays for any DSTV service (including full service, compact service, Easy View, Vodacom Select, and any other type of DSTV service).
