   Thats why its such a phenomenal brand and a leader in marketing in SA. Notice how retailers lead with Coca Cola campaigns…..not rocket science. I think there are very few other brands which have such pan market appeal

   Simba chips is another one: 31% of South African adults have enjoyed Simba chips in the past 7 days. There is very little variation between races – Balck 31%, Coloured 32%, Indian 35% and White 27% (AMPS2010)

   KFC is another one: 45% of South African adults visited KFC in the past four weeks (Black 46%, Coloured 41%, Indian 53% and White 44%) (AMPS2010).

         The spread across the races might be lower but that is because fewer people own Volkwagen Polo’s. The spread of a proportion peaks at 50% and yet Coke has a range of only 6% across the races – the lowest in the examples above.
