   Most religions don’t have room for respect. When people have immutable beliefs that all but your fellow believers are somehow damned or are at least lesser people how can they have respect?

   Differences in religion SHOULD drive people apart, remember that Jesus said:

   “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

   A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.

   Confusing as the book of Matthew also states: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

   More interesting bible quotes:

   Psalm 14:1 – “The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.”

   Exodus 22:19 – “Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed.”

   Those aren’t great quotes non-believers/other faiths/atheists/agnostics.

   No, I cant agree with that statement. People are being divided more on the racist line then on their religious beliefs. This is being STRONGLY driven by the ruling political party (ANC)for their own survival. If Zuma where clever, he would use the best person for the job, and often it would have to be a white person with bags of expertise. Trevor Manual made a bold statement some two weeks ago by saying that apartheid can no longer be blamed for the incompetence of some government officials.
