Scam you believe it?

In May 2022, Thabo Bester escaped from Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein where he was serving a life sentence for rape and murder convictions. While in prison he still managed to operate a multi-million rand scam, acting as chairperson of 21st Century Media, which posed as an event and production company. Bester was recently found and arrested in Tanzania.
