    This methodology was absolutely without any scientific merit.
    See page 463 – this score was the result of a question “In your country, how would you assess the quality of math and science education relative to other countries”

    How is objective? All this shows is that we have a low opinion of our math education.
    Surely we should compare scores for South African candidates on global tests – e.g. GMAT/A-levels etc
