Perhaps Minister Emmanual should address this issue with more assistance and education for entrepreneurs and small business. There is little, if any, financial, training or tax relief for the small ground roots entrepreneur.

Trevor Manual has served as a minister for well over a decade now, surely we can at least get his name right.

Interesting statistical targets. Its very easy hitting those targets with labor based projects. Off value would be the entrepreneurial target of those unemployed, .. would one target 1,2,3 or even 7%, What would be the entrepreneur to job created ratio 1 to 3 or 1 – 20, … services have very low multiplyers, … textiles can reach way higher ones, many of our textile players ended up in Lesotho and many now is in Haiti. Did they explain target bandwidth expansion and productivity ratios, Imagine the early failure of school book distribution and the always available in the cloud … do they even have a definitive model that express the more than 40 steps a Township manufacturing entrepreneur has to overcome to reach his goal of a marketable product, (doubt it very much), … are they addressing job creation in SADC to in some way stem the influx of labor and ensure an expanded wealth creation effort, … what is the drag of Zimbabwe on SADC and the potential conflicts expanding from Somalia to Northern Mozambique corridor, … what are the role of the vast arid and desert areas Northern Cape into Southern Angola are there any constructive programs in development, … What is being done to improve the sad state of Lesotho’s Forestry and diminishing soil fertility, an strategic SA issue, … how can the SDI’s be extracted across the borders, … particularly the DRC – Gauteng effort, … Also no clear sign of Asset creation and resource centers utilizing incubators and the real desperate need for INFORMATION in thousands of failed ICT projects globally, and even hands on R & D and Innovation, actually i once saw documentations lying in the reception area after a visit from a European delegation and the people in the offices did not get how that model could be utilized in the region, … Addressing Urban agriculture, there now is system on one acre with cover producing 22,000 pounds per year, all the sewerage poisoning in SA could be harvested for methane production and clean water, … the Johannesburg CBD has a huge area owned by and extremely wealthy organisation who can redevelop the area with apartments so people can be close to their office and small business opportunities in Johannesburg … when last has developers added to Hill brow or Berea, … converting businesses to energy self sufficient units, thereby reducing bulk demand, … one can think of service stations, … for many years tax payers have plowed hundreds of millions of tax money into several research facilities, … are there audit units that are willing to allocate these resources to communities, … there is the huge para-statal production facilities which had large capacity manufacturing how were some of there production lines adapted to manufacture more appropriate technology for the masses or education or even what licensing and re marketing of their suppliers products, … how well are SA facilitating the Internet and communication infrastructure into SADC and with such huge poverty should not telco’s be viewed as utilities in SADC, to ensure high velocity and capacity to get all online and actively engaged on devices more than just mobile phones and payment systems, also the JSE should have actively remained an SA institution which could have brought AFrica onto the world stage but no they had to go and hang onto the Colonials strings way to early, …. how are the report addressing the velocity of money and are they using community economics in the models, … can 3 story walk-ups be implemented with micro business facilities or garages on the ground floor area, … how can we gain a subsidized raw material base for local manufacturing, particularly in light of the wholesale sell out of SA assets and the good cash injections were invested where and how are we going to deal with the huge constant persistent outflows of dividends and profits, … also when are the South African design industry going to recognize the huge role played by the Arms Industry and the appropriate products for the global market, … Proudly SA also is a huge failure in marketing terms why would people engage in someone else’s pride in buying more curios from Africa, it should have been a way more powerful brand name, … and it should have a way more associative identity and Logo, … and those people should be drilled and the agencies that do their global advertising should be hold to competitive biding and include social media in way more engaging manners, … during the world cup there were huge gaps in reaching or marketing to the USA, imagine using BBC America for ads about SA’s soccer event, … but thats another story, … there also is the wine to global markets challenge with industry so scattered with small producers how are they going to keep up in global markets where the distributors are squeezing margins by spreading their products and they compete with 10’s of thousands of global manufacturers, …The very well paid task force, sadly lacked on diversity and we should really be very thankful for the wonderful contribution of the International Contingent that were so well entrenched in Strategic Processes which afterall is what one would have hoped for in the document, … and his team also had the unique opportunity to roll out a vision that could have found a wanting White House go WOW we can engage Africa and help them with an African Vision, and they could have utilize it withing the scope of current USA growth challenges, … also there is a huge logitical pin possible within BRIC (PLUS) look at a world map can u see it, maybe even several, … when it comes to the fracking we all would hope that the document would clearly state that those who need to do it should seriously reconsider, and in its place we will go into a joint venture to formulize a “new SASOL” like venture where we optimize Algae and see if we can get to the same levels of the expected production from fracking with comparable prices, … as a matter of fact these Algae facilities would be and can be commercialized in several desert areas globally, … and how about this : The companies tell us how much they intend harvesting and give an estimate to the possible resource size in Dollar terms, … then we say well lets go to SARB, and say well the resource is x can they create x times 10 – 21 over the next 20 years which will be purely invested and the resource would be kept in the ground as a reserve, … profits from related investments and risk would make up for this asset which if all fail can then be mined to your hearts content in 25 – 30 years time, and the infrastructure would be in place to even speed up such production, … also of note maybe can be the thought about how this current process is going to interfere with the gold veins which might supposedly go all the way down deeper and deeper into the Karoo inverted dome underground, … which is going to be have to be harvested with and by chemical processes and robotics, did i say robotics was it even mentioned…oh and yes maybe one can save the Swazi economy by utilizing the cane sugar bagasse and even move it from SA and manufacture an energy product that can be added to the gas flow from Mozambique, etc … Oh and just an after thought : Next time with the doc make it so the pdf document can be searched easily AND … this just blows my mind : “How does the average person like Sollie Motsapi a real person in Orange Farm maybe still alive in the a Squatter section hopefully with a dial up connection download this document to review it and use it in his own area and then where on earth is he going to print the 440 pages document granted he can do it two sided, sorry 220 pages. Or is this another document that mess with the desperate aspirations of poor hungry jobless people?

PS : If one use that document can one create 100,000 jobs in the USA or Europe within the next 18 months? How are one then going to use that document in SA?
