    Why does the SABC collect TV licence fees again? Does e TV and M Net share in the pilfering? Why is it the ‘right’ thing to do? Right for whom? The SABC collects revenue from advertising, when the TV licence system was somewhat justifiable, advertising was not the huge income spinner it has become today. So, limit advertising, or do away with the TV licence? That would be the ‘right’ thing to do!

    The school of thought that TV Licences should be abolished with the SABC will not go down well with this organisation.Not only are they struggling to stay afloat with frequent bail-outs from the Government.To flush a Billion rand of revenue down the drain sounds ludicrous.
