   This is interesting, how about a real numbers projection on this. As there are 10 times more black people than White. The 3% rise in Black people that own cars is considerably hiegher (in individual numbers) when viewed against 13% drop in White car owners. Can someone show a figure. As we can then view car dealership benefit or loss (I believe it will be a rise in number) If your stats guys can show this it will be interesting, thanks.

   David –

   2.79 million white South African adults own a car, down from 3.06m in 2000. For black adults, the number is 1.93m, up from 1.16m in 2000.

   Wow stats can be interesting – Actual drop in White car ownership approx 270 000 – Actual rise in Black car ownership approx 770 000 – Car dealers 🙂 Thanks stats guys you keep us sharp.

   It would be interesting to see if there is a linear relationship between these car ownership figures and population growth/ decline rates, and if they are proportional.
