The Community Survey is a nationally representative, large-scale household survey. It provides demographic and socio-economic information such as the extent of poor households, access to facilities and services, levels of employment/unemployment at national, provincial and municipality level.

The General Household Survey is an annual survey, and collects information on a variety of subjects including education, health, the labour market, dwellings, access to services and facilities, transport, and quality of life of South Africans.

- Detailed health and illness information including health facilities and care Welfare issues

Roots is an urban, community level survey. Data is gathered through a series of 45 minute in-home interviews that cover behaviour across numerous shopping categories. The respondents for ROOTS consist solely of Purchase Decision Makers in the household.

The Lightstone Company data is a database of companies in South Africa that you can cross tab by size, SIC Code, number of directors and other variables. If you want the names or contact details for the companies, contact us.
This database contains analysis of quarterly data of the South African consumer credit market in terms of the National Credit Act which came into effect in June 2006.
