   SA’s GDP is something like $300bn

   The Oil & Arms Companies in the U.S are probably Bigger – Gives an interesting perspective on the Iraq War…

   This is not a reasonable comparison – GDP comprises wages and salaries. Revenue includes the costs of material inputs, which are excluded from GDP.You are comparing Walmart’ gross output with Taiwan’s net output.
   Which is not to say Walmart is not enormous.
