   The SAIRR does *no* original research, it employs researchers who compile available information in a range of specialist subject fields (education, health, etc.) Once a year it publishes the results of this research in the South Africa Survey. Your post creates a misleading impression; please look at the current SA Survey and cite the actual study from which this statistic comes.

      Stephen – thank you for your comment. You are correct in saying that this survey was indeed published, not conducted, by the South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR).

   The survey does not show population size nor sample size. The results are material; the integrity of the study is compromised by not presenting details of the study.
