   I totally agree!My life is better than my mum’s when she was my age. Maybe because the economic and political condictions have changed significantly. Mpolokeng

      Of those adults who say they are in the middle class:

      44% thought their parents were in the lower/ working class
      43% Thought their parents were also in the middle class
      8% thought their parents were in the upper-middle class
      1% thought their parents were in the upper class

      when their parents were of the same age.

      (2% didn’t know/ couldn’t say)

   This country’s GDP has increased significantly in the past century so I am not suprised as to why things are like this. Economically we have grown, but politically, I think South Africa still has a lot of growing up to do.Seitiso
