It was alledgedly 52 a few weeks ago in the Paarl

If I’ve got my facts straight this very same town (Dunbrody) recorded a temperature of 51 deg C about 2 weeks ago, which is even 1 deg C higher than in 1918.
Yes, it could be worse:
Yesterday in Stuttgart, Germany -26 deg. C.
Darn right it’s HOT! And of course it could be worse – but does this make anyone feel any cooler… and as soon as the cold months arrive we’ll be bemoaning our wintry fate – and it’ll be colder than usual then too… and electricity will be at a premium – let’s not talk about the weather… Anyone want a refreshing smoothie recipe instead?
