If our road network is valued at R1.7 trillion and is classed as South Africa’s largest single public asset our government is not looking after it the way they should.

Ja – Right. SA’s people is not its greatest asset. You should re-think your measure of asset worth – or dump the pretence at “[trying]to probe the financial needs and practices of the people in the townships”.

  3. Victor says:

Correlius you are right, but MONEY is the value by which so many measure wealth / assets. The roads are worth big bucks – hence the hast to grab some of it though the “toll road” system.
