Worrying and alarming fact but not surprising. By tradition the teaching profession to many comes as a default career when all else fail. To change this culture means re-visiting the prime and elementary question. What is the purpose of education?
So what, 50% of our politicians, appear not to have had a secondary education!
And that makes it ok? If thats the case then S.A has got a loooooong way to go to reach the ideal economy, let alone education level!
