It seems they were incapable of putting a foot wrong, as they were in the good old pre 1995 days. What could have possibly gone wrong that has caused their efficiency to have toppled so badly, and this leading to a a severely damaged and tarnished image in the eyes of their previous admirers. Another thing, if I may ask: what percentage of the now, 80% of households being supplied, are actually paying for their electricity? And what percentage of the total supply is being pilfered for whatever usage at the expense of the faithful, paying consumer. If Eskom is unable to produce accurate statistics in reply to these questions, then, maybe, Eskom could have good reason to believe they have found some reason for their poor, current performance.
